Corporate events

A corporate audience that's seen everything still hasn't seen this.

I'm Ace Miles. I bring close-up magic, mentalism, or a full stage show to corporate events, and I run my own setup, sound, and cues, so nobody on your side is troubleshooting ten minutes before doors.

Always on time, professional and no surprises

I show up with everything I need and ready to go, so your team isn't managing me on top of everything else on the day. I'll be straight about whether I'm the right fit for what you've got in mind... Close-up for a reception? Mentalism worked into a program? A full comedy magic and mentalism stage set for a banquet or awards night? It could even be all of it wrapped up in a package. If something's outside what I do well, I'll tell you that too.

Fourteen years old, first corporate show

My first paid corporate show was in 1976, for Dataproducts Corp. in San Jose. I was fourteen. A couple years later I was the resident magician in the magic shop at Marriott's Great America, and I showed up on Evening Magazine, the Bay Area TV show, around the same time. I developed my sleight of hand skills during high school, which was supposed to be for homework. I was fortunate enough to meet and learn from Dai Vernon and the legendary Slydini when I was only 16.

Fifty years of corporate work, a few of the names

In 1985 GE/Calma brought me in for a massive product launch for their new Geometric Modeler (funny, I went on to become a 3D modeler). I've performed for Meta, Google, YouTube, Twitter, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Memorex, Xerox, American Cancer Society, ABC, Disney Channel, and at an Apple event in a park in the 1990s I even taught Steve Jobs and a group of Apple managers how to juggle for stress relief. Back then I was doing over sixty private and corporate shows in a single December, mostly across Silicon Valley and the Peninsula. More recently, I played the Academy of Magical Arts (the Magic Castle, Hollywood), a week-long run in 2025, twenty-seven shows in the Parlour of Prestidigitation.

I've had a repeat relationship with the Cupertino Rotary Club for decades, including 27 straight years performing my own show, Circus Minimus, at their Oktoberfest.
